Harlem Globetrotters are an Added Boost of Fun in U.S. Embassy’s Youth Basketball Outreach Program

The Embassy helped organize the game as part of its basketball outreach program for Filipino youth. Ambassador Kenney also treated a group of children from the city’s Gawad Kalinga homes to the Globetrotters show at the Araneta Coliseum on May 24.

A bonus to an already rare treat of watching world-renowned Globetrotters play, children whom Ambassador Kenney brought to the game had their photo taken at the center of the court with Sweet Lou, the coach of the “ambassadors of basketball.”
