EARTH DAY CELEBRATION - In an event that links water, sanitation and the environment, U.S. Ambassador Kristie Kenney (middle) and Coca-Cola Bottlers Phils., Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer David Lyons (third, left) guide children in the proper way of washing hands during an Earth Day program at the Coca-Cola bottling plant in Sta. Rosa, Laguna on April 22. The event was jointly sponsored by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) - Philippine Sanitation Alliance (PSA) and the City of Sta. Rosa, Laguna. USAID-PSA and Coca Cola Export Corporation also signed an agreement to support sanitation campaigns, including the reduction of diarrhea cases among children in Sta. Rosa’s poorest barangays.
