(BALIKATAN) Philippine, U.S. Troops Reach Out To Pandacan Parish: Philippine Marine Pfc. Joel Manzano and U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Tabot Kwo hand out Balikatan 2009 writing pads during a community relations project on April 22 at Santo Niño Parish Church in Pandacan. Philippine and U.S. troops handed out clothes, shoes, toys and notebooks to more than 200 families following Mass at the Church. The project was one of many taking place during Exercise Balikatan 2009, an annual humanitarian-assistance and training exercise which allows the Philippine and U.S. militaries to learn from one another as well as help local communities.
