Military Medics Treat AFP Scout Ranger Mascot: A soldier of the Philippine Army’s 7th Scout Ranger Company, watches over golden retriever Tom, the 7th SRC mascot, and her five puppies after she received a de-worming shot at a medical civil action project April 20 in Juban, Sorsogon province, Republic of the Philippines. Medical workers from the Philippine and U.S. armed forces and Philippine civic health organizations provided a broad range of medical support to local residents, including dental work, optometry and minor surgery. The Juban MEDCAP was one of several taking place in the Bicol region throughout Exercise Balikatan 2009.
