Philippine-U.S. Military Conduct Free Medical Clinics in Ternate.

 

 

Philippine-U.S. Military Conduct Free Medical Clinics in Ternate. Justin Azucenas, a corpsman with the health service support platoon, Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, takes the vital signs of a local Philippine girl during a free medical mission being conducted by joint Philippine and U.S. militaries as part of Balikatan 2009 at San Juan Elementary School. Azucenas is originally from the Zamboanga province and is one of many Filipino-Americans who serve in the U.S. armed forces. Balikatan is an annual bilateral training event between the Philippines and U.S.
