Philippine-U.S. Military Conduct Free Dental Clinics in Ternate.  Armed Forces of the Philippines Corpsman (left) with Jin Lin from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (right), work together to remove a tooth helping out a local resident in San Juan at a free medical and dental mission that is part of Balikatan 2009.  During Balikatan 2009, Filipino and U.S. teams work together to provide free medical, dental, veterinary, and engineering services for local communities.  These events help U.S. and Philippine militaries learn from one another while at the same time they are able to give back to the local communities.  (U.S. Marine Corp photo by Lance Cpl.
