Building a future for education: Philippine Navy Seabees, U.S. Navy Seabees and U.S. Marines work together to raise and secure a supporting beam for a roof on a new high school they are building in Sorsogon, Republic of the Philippines, April 14. The new school, expected to take about 30 days to complete, will accommodate about 75 students. The United States and the Republic of the Philippines are the only countries whose navies have “Seabee,” or construction battalion, units. "We have a good understanding with the U.S. Navy Seabees," said Philippine Navy Ensign Lorenzo Robredillo, executive officer for Engineering Task Force Sorsogon."We get together a lot and share fun, share food. There are only two types of Seabees in the world, U.S. and Filipino. That's why we are very close." (Official U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Heather Golden)
