U.S. Embassy Donates Equipment to DXDC Tawi-Tawi.  Monina Cespedes, Deputy Director of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) receives broadcast and communications equipment on behalf of DXDC Tawi-Tawi Radyo ng Bayan from Rebecca Thompson, U.S. Embassy Spokesperson, at U.S. Embassy in Manila.  The equipment includes a computer, cameras, DVD players, and voice recorders.  The donation by the U.S. Embassy is part of the U.S. Government’s provincial outreach program to help radio stations in remote areas of Mindanao.  Shown from L-R are: Karen Schinnerer, Deputy Press Officer, U.S. Embassy; Rebecca Thompson; Monina Cespedes; and Elenita Badjao, Administrative Accounting Chief, PIA.
