Ambassador Kenney Kicks off New Youth Basketball Outreach Program

U.S. Ambassador Kristie Kenney does a “high five” with members of the two teams participating in the Mini Division of the Taguig Basketball League Association. As part of her initiative to promote sports among Filipino youth, the Ambassador brought the children from Maharlika Village in Taguig to watch a practice game of the Purefoods Giants. Aside from meeting star players of the Philippine Basketball Association, the children also received on-court tips from the Giants.
