During his August 28 visit to the Sto. Tomas, Zamboanga del Norte, Director Lindborg also formally turned over 10 computers and computer accessories worth P339,000 to the parent-teacher-community association and school administration. Under its Computer Literacy and Internet Connection program, USAID, through its Growth and Equity in Mindanao (GEM) program, has provided computers to nearly 700 schools in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and conflict-affected areas in Mindanao.
