U.S. Embassy Announces Increase in Medical Examination Fees
For Immigrant Visa Applicants
On May 2, 2008, St. Luke's Medical Center Extension Clinic (SLMCEC), the Embassy's accredited medical facility, increased the medical examination fee by $30.70 to cover the costs of administering newly available vaccinations that are required for immigration to the United States. The new medical exam fees will be $213.35 for adults (15 years and older) and $185.35 for children (under 15 years of age). SLMCEC does not accept dollar payments. The fees must be paid in Philippine pesos at the prevailing exchange rate.
Further price increases are anticipated in the coming months as an additional required vaccine becomes available in the Philippines. Please view our website at http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html for complete and accurate information on current fees.
