U.S. NAVY HOSPITAL SHIP MERCY TO VISIT THE PHILIPPINES

 

USNS MERCY RETURNS TO RP.  U.S. Navy hospital ship USNS Mercy is returning to the Philippines this month to help provide medical and surgical services to local communities in Samar and in Mindanao. The floating hospital’s assistance programs will be carried out in coordination with Philippine public health and preventive medicine personnel, members of the U.S. and Philippine Armed Services, NGOs, and private citizen medical personnel.
