Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and U.S. military engineers work together to build an elementary school

KADINGILAN, MIDSAYAP, Republic of the Philippines - Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and U.S. military engineers work together to build an elementary school February 22 for the community of Kadingilan, Midsayap, in North Cotabato, as part of the Balikatan 2008 humanitarian assistance program.  Kadingilan Elementary School is one of six schools that are being constructed or renovated by AFP and U.S. military construction teams in Central and Western Mindanao and the Sulu Archipelago. True to the meaning of the word balikatan, Philippine and U.S. forces are shouldering the load together to help the greatest possible number of people in need. (U.S. Navy Photo by MC2 Brett Cody)
