USS Shiloh visits the Philippines to foster goodwill

The outreach project, part of the ship’s goodwill visit to the Philippines, was in support of Gawad Kalinga’s (GK) goal of helping low-income Filipinos improve their lives by providing them land, homes, electricity, food, health care and education. GK is a Philippine non-governmental organization that is also involved in providing disaster relief.
