U.S. Ambassador Kristie A. Kenney (third from left) is joined by U.S. Senators Theodore Stevens (second, left) and Daniel Inouye (fourth from right) during last week’s turnover of computers, projectors, printers, books and science laboratory equipment to the High School Department of the Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology (ZSCMST).  Present at the ceremony to receive the assistance package from the U.S. Agency for International Development were (from left) Undersecretary Virgilio Leyretana, Chairman, Mindanao Economic Development Council (MEDCO); Student Council President Melesa Julbarri; Zamboanga City Mayor Celso Lobregat; ZSCMST High School Department President Erne Caraecle; and Parent-Teacher Community Association President Ambali Taola.  Senators Stevens and Inouye visited the Philippines as part of their trip through the Asia-Pacific region.
