Ambassador Kristie Kenney and Mayor Alfredo Lim, joined by children of U.S. Embassy employees, flip the switch to light up the 50 parols representing the 50 U.S. states and other lights surrounding the Embassy grounds. The holiday lighting ceremony held on December 13 kicked off the holiday celebrations at the U.S. Embassy, joining the festive community of the many other holiday lights on display all over Manila.
