Deputy Chief of Mission Paul Jones Inaugurates "American Showcase" at Cagayan de Oro City Trade Fair

U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Paul W. The three-day showcase featured a number of American companies that are reaching out to new customers in the Cagayan de Oro City, and a catalog show of more than 50 U.S. companies looking for agents, distributors, and end-users of American products.

The three-day showcase featured a number of American companies including 3M, Amway, Cargill, Citibank Savings, Dole, Federal Express, Goodyear, Kraft, and Cisco.

Deputy Chief of Mission Paul Jones opened the U.S. pavilion at the exhibit featuring well-known American brands seeking to expand in the Mindanao area and a catalog show of more than 50 American companies seeking Philippine distributors and end-users of American products and services.
Deputy Chief of Mission Paul Jones tours the work station area of the Link2Support/Cisco Call Center in Cagayan de Oro City during his October 17 visit. Link2Support is an overseas facility of the California-based Synnex company. The call center has 1,200 local employees and is expanding adding 300 additional seats this year. Mr. Jones also inaugurated the American Showcase and Catalog Exhibit at the First Oro Best Expo in the city earlier in the day.
