U.S. Ambassador Kristie Kenney poses with members of the Board of the Sulu Consumers Cooperative in Jolo City. The Cooperative was severely damaged by a terrorist bomb in March 2006, claiming five lives and wounding over 20. Local volunteers, U.S. armed forces, and Armed Forces of the Philippines joined with the U.S. NGO 3P Foundation to reconstruct the building, which was re-dedicated on the one-year anniversary of the attack.
