U.S. gives medical supplies
to RP hospitals

16 turnover to the PGH of P3.5-million worth of medical supplies
that the U.S. Government donated to the National Anti-Poverty
Commission (NAPC) through the Joint U.S. Military Assistance Group
(JUSMAG) Humanitarian Assistance Program. NAPC Under Secretary

were present at the ceremony. Four other hospitals in Metro Manila
– the Quirino Memorial Medical Center, Novaliches District
Hospital, Jose Reyes Medical Center and the Jose Fabella Memorial
Hospital – will receive a portion of the donation.

look over the donated medical supplies, which included sterile
gloves, oxygen masks, nasal cannula, ventilator tubing, syringes,
IV catheter needles and tubing, bulb syringes, scalpels, ostomy
bags, urinary catheter and light surgical instruments. The P3.5-million
worth of U.S. Government donation was made through the JUSMAG
Humanitarian Assistance Program, which enjoys support from non-governmental
American organizations such as the KnightsBridge, Remedy, and
the Humanitarian International Service Group.
