U.S. Embassy Community Helps Families after Fire Devastates their Community

After collecting an impressive amount of canned food, rice, clothes, and toys from the U.S. Embassy community, four U.S. Embassy Club (USEC) volunteers delivered the supplies to 27 families who lost their homes in the Buting Bridge fire last week. USEC is a volunteer group composed of U.S. Embassy employees and family members that works with area charities and volunteer organizations.
Many of the children living in Buting Bridge are students at the Trichet Learning Center, a charity supported by USEC. Through the center, the U.S. Embassy community was able to donate goods to help these families rebuild their lives. Children who lost their homes in a recent fire enjoy meeting volunteers from the U.S. Embassy Club, a volunteer group composed of U.S. Embassy employees and family members that works with area charities and volunteer organizations.
