Chef Training Supported by American People: Ambassador Kenney Inaugurates Demo Kitchen at CCA

Ambassador Kristie A. Kenney and Annie Guerrero, President of the Center for Culinary Arts (CCA), try dishes prepared by CCA staff. Ambassador Kenney helped inaugurate a new "Demo Kitchen" facility at the CCA that was funded with assistance from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The Demo Kitchen will help train Filipino chefs and culinary professionals on the use and preparation of American food exports.
Ambassador Kristie A. Kenney, CCA General Manager Badjie Trinidad, and CCA President Annie Guerrero cut a ribbon opening the new Demo Kitchen at the CCA's facility in Quezon City. The Demo Kitchen was funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and will help train Filipino chefs and culinary professionals on the use and preparation of American food exports.
Joined by U.S.-trained Filipino chefs, Ambassador Kristie A. Kenney inspects the Demo Kitchen constructed with assistance from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and installed in Quezon City's Center for Culinary Arts. The kitchen boasts more than $85,000 in new kitchen equipment funded by the American people.
