
During a visit to Baguio City on July 29-30, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill (right) and U.S. Ambassador Kristie Kenney officially opened an American Corner at the Philippine Military Academy's library, which received a donation of nearly $12,000 in materials in equipment from the U.S. Embassy in Manila under a program that provides reference materials, periodical subscriptions, CD-ROMs and videotapes, and electronic equipment to libraries in the Philippines. Cutting the ribbon with Assistant Secretary Hill is PMA's Superintendent, Major General Leopoldo Maligalig.
