60 Years of Philippine-American Friendship Displayed in Black and White at DFA Photo Exhibit

In honor of the 60th anniversary of Philippine-American Friendship Day on July 4, 2006, U.S. Ambassador Kristie A. Kenney and Philippine Secretary of Foreign Affairs Alberto G. Romulo cut the ribbon to unveil a photo exhibit at the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) that revisits 60 years of friendship using photographs amassed from several private and public collections.
The Hon. Teresita Berner, Director of the Philippine Foreign Service Institute, takes Ambassador Kenney and Secretary Romulo on a tour of the photo exhibit in the lobby of the DFA. The exhibit celebrates 60 years of friendship and boasts photographs from the archives of the American Historical Collection at Ateneo de Manila; the National Historic Institute; the U.S. Embassy; the Department of Foreign Affairs; and other public and private collections.
