Five women members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) who completed a two-day training seminar on trafficking in persons proudly show their certificates for completing the course at the graduation ceremony held in Camp Crame, Quezon City, on November 8. Some 60 men and women PNP members who work closely with trafficking victims participated in the seminar, which was sponsored by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and aimed at strengthening the country’s ability to prosecute and convict human traffickers.
