During the launching of the Book Reading program at the Children’s Christian’s Fund (CCF) office in Basilan, students raptly listen as Col. Jacki Lyons of U.S. Embassy’s Joint U.S. Military Assistance Group (JUSMAG) holds a world map and explains the big world that reading opens to everyone. USAID’s Enhanced and Rapid Improvement of Community Health (EnRICH) program assists CCF and other organizations to increase the practice of modern family planning methods and contributes to the reduction of maternal, infant and child mortality in the ARMM. |
