U.S. rewards RP citizen informant

Masked to protect his identity during a media event at
the U.S. Embassy on April 30, a Filipino man receives from Major Donald
Bridgers of the Joint U.S. Military Assistance Group (JUSMAG) an attaché
case containing P840,000 as his reward for providing the Philippine
government information that led to the arrest of Abu Sayyaf Group cell
leader, Alhamzer Limbong, also known as “Kumander Kosovo.”

witness the handover of the reward. The United States government provided
the reward under its Department of Defense Small Rewards Program.

Kosovo “represents only the most recent in a series of Philippine
victories in the war on terrorism,” Chargé Mussomeli said.
