Peace Corps Philippines

IN 1961, the first group of Peace Corps Volunteers arrived in the Philippines. Since then, more than 8,500 Volunteers have served with Filipino organizations and communities. They work to expand horizons for Filipinos through education, economic opportunity, life skills development, environmental education, restoration and conservation. More than 140 Volunteers work with Filipino government agencies and NGOs in the following sectors:
