Benigno S. Aquino, Jr. Fellowships for Professional Development during
a ceremony held at the ambassador's residence on February 5. (Lower

on behalf of his brother-in-law and interfaith dialogue advocate Taha M.
Basman. Established in 1988 by the U.S. Embassy to commemorate the
late Senator Benigno S. Aquino, Jr.'s accomplishments in public service
and the media, the fellowship awards allow recipients to travel to the
U.S. to meet and exchange views with their professional colleagues.
