VisaPoint™ for Individuals, Families, and Standard Groups

Applicants (except A-1, A-2, G-1, G-2, G-3, G-4, and C-3) must book an interview by scheduling an appointment online through VisaPoint™ or through the Embassy’s Call Center to obtain a confirmation number. The Visa Point system allows individuals to schedule nonimmigrant visa interview appointments online.

Individuals must purchase a personal identification number (PIN) to enter the Visa Point system, which provides information on nonimmigrant visa types, and allows applicants to select an appointment date and time from those available. Each PIN costs US$10, and may be paid for with a credit card, either Visa or MasterCard. Please note that a PIN expires 90 days after purchase if not used to schedule an appointment.

Each PIN allows for up to two (2) reschedules of the appointment. Any changes or cancellation must be done at least three business days (excluding U.S. and Philippine Holidays and weekends) before the appointment date. If an appointment must be changed after this deadline, a new PIN must be purchased.

Family
A family with a maximum of five members, who will apply for the same visa classification, will be provided a single confirmation number.  If one of the family members will apply for a different visa classification, s/he must contact the Call Center or access VisaPoint™ to obtain his/her own confirmation number.  Extended family members such as grandparents, parents of a married son/daughter, grandchildren, nieces/nephews, etc., even if they live in the same house, do not qualify as family members.

Standard Group
Five or more applicants, who will apply for the same visa classification and for the same purpose, are encouraged to apply together as a group.  The group may book an appointment either through the Embassy’s Call Center or VisaPoint™.  Each group will be provided a single confirmation number.  (Note: Priority Interview Program (PIP) participants and those under blanket petitions do not qualify under this category.)
