Reporter.org (http://www.reporter.org) - Reporter.org was conceived by Investigative Reporters and Editors as a way to provide a variety of resources to journalists, journalism educators, and the public at large via the Web. Founded with a donation from the Hillman Trust and furthered with grants from The Florence and John Schumann Foundation, the project continues to evolve.

Facsnet (http://www.facsnet.org/)- Collection of online resources for reporters produced by the Foundation for American Communications (FACS), a non-profit educational institution. It contains a database of expert sources.

Journalism Net (http://www.journalismnet.com/) – Extensive collection of great links for journalism. It has an international flavor.

PowerReporting (http://www.powerreporting.com/) – Lists the top 100 web sites for journalists. It also organizes links by beats for beat reporter.

Teaching Journalism Online (http://www.carleton.ca/~mmcguire/) – A collection of links to Internet search tools. Maintained by Mary McGuire, a journalism professor at Carleton University.

Newspaper Association of America (http://www.newspaperlinks.com/voyager.cfm) – A metasites link to almost all newspapers in the U.S. Search by state and by newspaper or broadcast source title.

CNN (http://www.cnn.com/) – Don't forget CNN for current news and search.

JournalistExpress: Site for busy Journalists (http://www.journalistexpress.com/) – Fairly comprehensive site. Has links to news publications on sites.
