USS FORT MCHENRY SHIP TOUR 
 

USS Fort McHenry's QMC James Manning and QM1 David A. Tokarski show Philippine Navy's S1QM Michael R. Calleja and S1QM Ralph P. Honculada around the ship's navigation room during the ships visit in Manila.  Commissioned in 1987 in Seattle, Washington, the Sasebo-based dock landing ship has been awarded the Navy Commendation, the National Defense Service Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal, the Kuwait Liberation Medal and the Combat Action Ribbon.

Encapas join USS Fort McHenry crew and other Filipino naval servicemen in a demonstration of firefighting skills during simulation exercises aboard the visiting U.S. naval ship April 25.  The ship arrived April 23 for a week-long visit in support of the U.S.-Philippines joint training, Exercise Balikatan 2002, in Central Luzon.
