“America in 3D” is coming to Ilocos Norte

America in 3D is coming to Robinsons Place Ilocos Norte on August 25 and 26. America in 3D, or “A3D,” is a road show highlighting Diplomacy, Development, and Defense organized by the U.S. Embassy. All activities and presentations during this two-day event are open to the public and free of charge.

America in 3D is a celebration of Filipino-American friendship, showcasing American culture and U.S. Embassy programs and services in the Philippines. The public will enjoy dance and musical performances of American music. The U.S. Navy’s high energy rock-and-roll band, Orient Express, will perform your favorite hits during America in 3D. There will be free samplings of American food and an exhibit of classic American cars and motorcycles. Visitors to the event can also learn how to apply for a U.S. visa as well as how to study in the United States.

America in 3D is a unique opportunity for Ilocanos to meet representatives of the U.S. Embassy, including experts from the Consular Section, Department of Veterans Affairs, Peace Corps, United States Agency for International Development, and the Philippine-American Educational Foundation. Representatives from the U.S. Embassy will be on hand throughout the program to answer questions and provide information.

This is the fifth America in 3D program to take place in the Philippines. Launched in 2011 by U.S. Ambassador Harry K. Thomas, Jr. in Quezon City, the America in 3D road show has since taken place in Baguio, Cebu, and Iloilo.

Members of the public are welcome to join us at America in 3D by coming to Robinsons Place Ilocos Norte in Laoag on Saturday, August 25 and Sunday, August 26.
