    April 7, 2015, Manila—The United States Embassy in Manila welcomes American artist Felipe Castelblanco to the Philippines where he will create The People’s Island—a small floating platform of salvaged wood and other buoyant materials during an “American Arts Incubator” program in partnership with the Negros Museum in Bacolod from April 7 to May 1. The Department of State has updated the Worldwide Caution to provide information on the continuing threat of terrorist actions and violence against U.S. citizens and interests throughout the world. U.S. citizens are reminded to maintain a high level of vigilance and to take appropriate steps to increase their security awareness. This replaces the Worldwide Caution dated April 10, 2014.
