Thomas Jefferson Information Center (TJIC), the Information Resource Center (IRC) of the US Embassy Manila assists Filipinos in understanding the US through relevant and current information available through its print collection, CD-ROM, online databases and internet sources.

To maximize the availability of its resources and services, the TJIC maintains and coordinates with 13 American Corners (ACs) and 31 American Shelves in key locations throughout the Philippines.

The American Corners

TJIC maintains and coordinates a network of university-based American Corners in key locations throughout the Philippines. American Corners have books, maps, posters, periodicals, materials produced and published by the U.S. Department of State, CD-ROM, audio and video tapes, and online databases that provide a wide array of information about the United States.
